A playing card is freely chosen by a spectator. The performer marks it in a rather unusual way, by taking out a pair of scissors and cutting it into quarters. The spectator is asked to place his hand flat on the table over the four pieces. When he lifts his hand off the pieces, they magically and visibly restore themselves into one whole card.
