A dollar bill is borrowed from a spectator. The performer initials it and places it in his pocket. A dollar bill similar to the one borrowed is seen to be trapped between the two plastic shots which are held together by elastic bands and a padlock. The padlock runs through two holes in the sheets and through a hole in the bill. The hole being located at a corner of the plastic shoots.

Through a window in the top plastic sheet the spectator is asked to initial the bill. If desired, he may also note the serial number of the bill.

The spectator is given the padlocked bill to hold. The performer reaches into his pocket and removes the dollar bill he had just put there. To the astonishment of the spectator, it is the bill THAT HE JUST INITIALED AND WAS SUPPOSEDLY HOLDING. BUT, upon checking the padlocked bill it is FOUND TO BE THE ONE THAT THE MAGICIAN ORIGINALLY INITIALED AND PLACED IN HIS POCKET....
