The performer shows a plain table knife, also a stip of news paper. He borrows a currency note, folds it in half lengthwise. He also folds the strip of paper in half lengthwise. Next  he places the folded note inside the folded strip of paper, holds the set in one hand. Taking knife in other hand he inserts the blade within the fold of the note and then pierces through its center, further piercing the folded paper strip, makes uncanny impact upon close-up viewer's minds. Then they are allowed to look inside folded note and they look thoroughly amazed as the blade of the knife is definitely found to be piercing through the paper with the knife, which is obviously being permanently damaged! However, slicing the folded strip of paper with the knife, performer returns undamaged currency note to its owner, thus making them thoroughly intrigued with the uncanny effect they have just experienced.
